- Mixer Melts
- Auto Air Fresheners
Each has different fragrances, but all use all natural soybean wax instead of petroleum-based wax in their candles. There are so many benefits to soy wax over petroleum-based or paraffin wax. Here are a few:
Soy Bean Wax | | Petroleum-based or Paraffin Wax | - Soy Wax Candles burn cooler, more uniformly and last up to 50% longer with no waste.
- Because Soy Wax Candles burn cooler, they distribute their fragrance faster and for a longer period of time.
- Soy Wax Candles burn cleaner and are virtually soot free.
- Soy Wax Candles are biodegradable and water soluable. Spills are easily cleaned up with some hot soapy water.
- Soy Wax Candles are non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. This means they are the most environmentally friendly candle available.
- Soy Wax Candles do NOT increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere.
- Soy Wax Candles are made from all natural Soy Beans which are farm grown in the USA. Soy is a totally renewable resource and buying soy products support our economy!
- Soy Wax Candles are much less expensive than the other natural type of wax -- beeswax.
| | - Paraffin Wax Candles burn very hot and fast. They also burn very unevenly, often burning down the middle of the candle called tunneling.
- Paraffin Wax Candles are mede from petroleum, the same thing that you put in your car, however a candle does not have a catalytic converter like your car does. The result of this is BLACK SOOT!
- Paraffin Wax Candles are NOT biodegradable or water soluable. Spilled paraffin wax is difficult to clean, frequently damaging carpets, clothing and furniture.
- Paraffin Wax Candles contain numerous toxins and carcinogens. These are evaporated in the air you breathe while they are burning.
- Paraffin Wax Candles are made from petroleum-based by-products. Petroleum, as you know, is not a renewable resource and most of it is imported into the USA. So whose economy are we supporting??
