I received my order earlier this week. Thanks so much, I had given up finding the Claire Burke at local shops, but your prices were the best I found on line. Even though shipping is expensive these days (not much you can do about that – I know because I’m involved with shipping here at work), I could have spent more than that on gasoline running around looking for the scent I wanted, and probably would have been disappointed not to find it.

I have bought candles for many years but I have never ever enjoyed any as I do these (Tyler). Time after time I've been disappointed to bring a candle home and notice little or no hint of the smell it's supposed to give off. These are like magic. They last and last and the mulled cider is absolutely "delicious."
I also want to say that your attitude toward customer service is just amazing, especially today, when people just don't seem to care! I wish you all the success there can be.....you deserve it!

I couldn't believe I got my package of Claire Burke Fragrance Refills 2 short days after I ordered them. What good service! I am used to ebay delivery which seems to take weeks, especially during the holidays.

Q: What credit cards does Dogwood Square accept?
A: We now accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa as well as PayPal, of course. We can also accept Money Orders and Certified Checks, however, we will not ship your orders until we receive these forms of payment.
Q: Why do I have problems getting my credit card to go through?
A: The credit card authorization company we use, Authorize.net, will only authorize a charge if the information we get from you matches the information you put/gave on the application for the credit card. You must give us the exact name on the card, the exact name and address at the time you applied for the card. And please be careful to give us the correct number and expiration date from the card.
We are staunch believers in keeping your information private and DO NOT sell or otherwise divulge your information to anyone but the credit card authorization company. We DO NOT and WILL NOT knowingly participate in any practice which may be considered Spamming.
Q: Do you give a discount for shipping?
A: We offer FREE shipping for orders of $60 or more on all ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States. We have several different forms of shipping depending on the brand of product you purchase. Products by Claire Burke and The Thymes Limited may either be shipped by UPS, FedEx or by mail. All others will be shipped by UPS. You may not be charged at check out, but rather will be charged, if your order is below $60 or is by some other method of shipping other than ground, at the time we charge your credit card.
Q: I bought $60 worth of goods, but was charged for shipping...why?
A: If you request any other form of shipping such as over nite or some other form which involves shipment by air, you will, unfortunately, nullify the free shipping. We will notify you to make sure you understand this before we charge your credit card.
Q: Do you ship to locations outside the United States?
A: At present Dogwood Square only ships to locations in the US and Canada.
Q: How long does it take to get my order?
A: While we always strive to keep all products we advertise on the site in stock, there are times when our inventory of stock is low. At those times we will try to post a message on the site to make you aware of this and to let you know when we anticipate having the product(s) back in stock. Please let us know when you are ordering if the order is needed very quickly for a gift or other special occasion and we will make whatever arrangements necessary to get your order to you on time or if that is not possible, we will suggest another site where you may obtain the gift.
We do our best to ship in-stock items in 1-2 business days. However, there will be times when, as indicated on our "Store Policies" page, shipping may take as many as 7-21 days. Again, if there is a special reason why you need your package sooner, please let us know. If there is a way for us to send it to you faster, we will.
Q: How is sales tax handled?
A: Orders shipped to Alabama addresses will have an 10% sales tax automatically added to the order total. There is no sales tax charged to orders shipped to addresses outside of Alabama.
Q: Can I have my order shipped to a Post Office Box?
A: Because we use UPS and/or FedEx, 95% of our shipments can not be shipped to a PO Box. We have, however, made exceptions for rush orders on an individual basis. We can ship items by Claire Burke and The Thymes by mail, if you request us to. Orders shipped by mail can be delivered to a P.O. Box.
Q: Is there a minimum order amount?
A: No, there is no minimum order amount at Dogwood Square, however because we do not charge for shipping for all orders of $60 or more, it would work to your advantage to place one larger order than several smaller ones.
Q: Do you have a backorder policy?
A: Yes. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you immediately with an option for substitution or ask if you want to wait for your order to be shipped when that item comes back in stock. Backorders usually ship within 2-3 weeks. If you want the part of your order which is ready to ship immediately and want the backordered item(s) shipped separately, we will include charge you for the entire order and include an invoice showing that part of the order is backordered. When the backordered item(s) come in, they will be shipped and another invoice will be included showing that the items have already been charged.
Q: What is your Refund Policy?
A: If we need to refund your order, we will go into our credit card authorization software (Authorize.net) and issue a refund. It will then show up on your next credit card bill as a refund to your account. If you paid us by using Paypal, we can also issue a refund in Paypal, however they charge a 5% fee which we will charge you. (We do not make any money through refunds.)
Q: How do you handle Returns?
A: We, of course, want your shopping experience with Dogwood Square to be a good one! Because Bath & Body products which have been opened and used cannot be resold, we cannot take them back.
If we made a mistake and shipped you the wrong product and you have not opened it, then we will happily work with you on the return if made within 15 days for either a refund or store credit. We will pay the return shipping cost if the return is the result of an error we made or if the product is defective. If the item appears to be damaged in shipping, please save the original packaging and contact us so that we file a claim with the shipper. They will come and pick the package up and inspect it so we can be reimbursed for our shipping expense.
